Tarot Demon Possessed

A 78-card tarot system built around the 72 demons of the Goetia, the Seven Deadly Sins, and Lilith.

Tarot Demon Possessed approaches tarot through a different system of interpretation.

Rather than relying on traditional Rider–Waite imagery, each card embodies a specific demonic entity, its sigil, abilities, and symbolic influence. A reading focuses not only on what is happening, but on the force, tendency, or influence shaping the situation.

The deck draws from the 72 demons of the Goetia, together with the Seven Deadly Sins and Lilith, forming a complete 78-card tarot structure with one additional Lilith card.

Each illustration was developed through a multi-step digital painting process, combining anatomical studies, symbolic references, layered textures, masking, shadows, and detailed finishing. 

The Reading System

Each entity represents a distinct type of influence.

When a card appears in a reading, it can point toward:

• The force shaping a situation
• The motivation behind a behavior
• A tendency currently becoming stronger
• An influence that may need to be understood or confronted

The deck can be used with familiar tarot formats, including single-card pulls, three-card readings, and larger spreads, while following its own entity-based interpretation system.

The Demon’s Eye Box

The deck is housed in a custom 3D-printed sculptural box made from PLA+.

At the center is the Demon’s Eye, surrounded by openwork details inspired by occult symbolism. The eye itself can move, giving the box a subtle interactive quality.

Designed as both protective packaging and a display object, the box is an integral part of the Tarot Demon Possessed set.
